Seminar on Technology Addiction: symptoms, consequences & Management

A seminar on “Technology Addiction: Symptoms, Consequences & Management” was organized by Department of Psychology, IUBAT in association with Professor Mahmuda Khanum Counseling and Guidance Center on 30^th October 2019 (Wednesday) at IUBAT Conference Hall. The Speaker of this seminar was Mahjabeen Haque PhD, Chairperson & Professor, Department of Educational & Counseling Psychology, University of Dhaka; Director, student counseling & guidance office, TSC, University of Dhaka.

Chief Guest of this seminar was Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Hamida Akthar Begum, Prof Dr. Abul Khair, Dean of College of Arts and Sciences (CAAS) and Chairperson M Alimullah Miyan Research Institution (MAMRI) was the chair of the seminar and Khwaja Muhammed Sultanul Aziz, Distinguished Professor was the guest of honor.

The speaker Dr Haque addressed different issues of technology addiction such as symptoms, consequences and management. She also discussed some cases of technology addiction that depicts how it could turn to violence.
