6thDeath Anniversary of Founder of IUBAT Prof Dr M Alimullah Miyan, the Pioneer of Private Universities in Bangladesh
The 6th death anniversary of Professor Dr. M. Alimullah Miyan, the Pioneer of private universities in Bangladesh, was observed on Wednesday, 10 May 2023 at IUBAT campus. The Khatam-e-Quran and a Doa Mahfil were held for eternal peace of the departed soul of DrMiyan. A Memorial meeting was also arranged at the campus. It was an opportunity for many of his colleagues and students to pay homage to him.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Abdur Rab, All Deans, Exam Controller Br. General (Rtd) Dr M Zahid Hossain, and Registrar Professor Dr Md Lutfar Rahman were present the Doa Mahfil and Memorial Meeting. The community of IUBAT, Dr Miyan’s well-wishers and relatives also joined the program to pray for the salvation of his soul.
Professor Dr M Alimullah Miyan was the Founder Vice-Chancellor of the IUBAT established in 1991 in Dhaka. After completing his Honors and Masters degrees from Dhaka University, he perused his MBA at Indiana University, USA. Finally, he received PhD from Manchester Business School, UK.
