IUBAT Celebrated Scholars -Day 2022

IUBAT Scholars Day 2022 was celebrated at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT). This day is celebrated for meritorious students achieving excellence in the year 2020-21. On Tuesday and Wednesday, 18^th& 19^th October, 2022, scholarships and certificates were awarded to meritorious students of the university’s auditorium. In the 3 semesters of 2020-21students who received 4.00 out of CGPA 4.00 in 3, 2 or 1 semester, they are given various cash scholarships and certificates.

Program presided over by IUBAT Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Abdur Rab. He first greeted the meritorious students with sincere greetings. He said that not only will the admission of merit be admired in the academic field but also to achieve moral and practical education and to gain knowledge from the surroundings. Later, he handed over cash scholarships and merit certificates among about 891 meritorious students of 10 departments of IUBAT. Their guardians also participated in this event with the students.

The introductory speech was delivered by Convener of the program Prof. Dr. Bishwajit Saha.The welcome address was delivered by Pro- Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Hamida Akther Begum, Treasure  Prof Selina Nargis,spoke. Dean, Chair, Coordinator and Professors of various faculties also spoke, among them Professor Dr. Shahidullah Miah, Prof Dr Farzana Sultana, Prof Dr. Md Lutfar Rahman, Professor Md Mozaffar Alam Chowdhury, Prof Dr Utpal Kanti Das, Prof Dr. Dewan Muhammad Nuruzzaman, Prof. Dr. Gulam Rasul, Prof. Dr. Momtazur Rahman, Assoc.  Prof. Dr.A.K.M Parvez Iqbal. Mohammad Ullah, Mr Shuvashish Das Bala, Assot Prof Sk Ershad Hossain,  Ms Farzana Al Ferdous, Dr. Raton Kumar Nondy, Dr. Hasibur Rahman Chayon, and ATM Sirajul Alom.After the ceremony, cultural events were organized for teachers and students to participate.
