IUBAT Celebrated Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti 1431 with a Spectacular Cultural Event
IUBAT buzzed with joy during its grand celebration of Rabindra-Nazrul Jayanti 1431 on Monday, June 10, at 3:00 pm in the Lobby of IUBAT premises. The event featured diverse performances honoring renowned Bengali poets Rabindranath Tagore and Kazi Nazrul Islam.
The program commenced with a heartwarming tribute to Tagore, showcasing captivating recitations of his poetry and soul-stirring renditions of his melodious songs. Transitioning to Kazi Nazrul Islam, the auditorium resonated with the revolutionary spirit as poets and performers recited Nazrul’s powerful verses inspiring passion and social awareness. The event emphasized Nazrul’s significant contributions to Bengali literature.
Prof. Dr. Abdur Rab, Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr. M Mahmudur Rahman of IUBAT, and Prof. Selina Nargis, Treasurer and Director of Administration, graced the occasion, highlighting IUBAT’s commitment to cultural enrichment.
