Health Checkup program Nursing Society held at IUBAT

As a part of month long celebration of 33^rd Foundation Day of IUBAT-2024, College of Nursing, in collaboration with ‘Bangladesh Thalassaemia Samity’ and ‘Update Dental College & Hospital’, organized a “General Health Check-up Program” on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, from 09:00 AM to 04:30 PM at the IUBAT Open Auditorium.

There was a voluntary “Blood Donation Campaign” conducted by the Bangladesh Thalassaemia Samity and a “Dental Campaign” conducted by the Update Dental College & Hospital. And the students of the College of Nursing department of the IUBAT, participated to perform the overall health assessment of the students and employees of the entire campus.

The program was inaugurated by the Registrar Prof. Dr Md Lutfar Rahman, and Exam Controller  Brigadier General (Retd.) Dr Zahid Hossain. Prof. Mohammad Ullah, Chair, Associate Prof. Shuvashish Das Bala, Coordinator, along with other faculty members of College of Nursing were also present on the occasion.

Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, the Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT cordially visited and assessed his health with other distinguished guests.

The Program offered services for checking vital signs, body mass index, vision test, pupillary reflex and capillary refill, blood sugar and blood grouping test, nutritional and mental counseling. All the checkup services were free of cost except blood sugar and blood grouping tests. Faculty members, admin members, students and staff took the services from the counters.
