Consultancy Training Research and Publication Division (CTRPD)


BACKGROUND

To provide effective coordination among the following specialized centers, the Consultancy Training Research and Publication Division (CTRPD) has been established in January 2014. The professional staffs encompass engineers of various disciplines, project management and quality assurance experts, educationists, designers, agronomist, agriculturist, ETP specialists, irrigation specialists, energy specialists, community & institutional development specialists, financial analysts, sociologists, economists, socio-economists, psychologists, IT specialists, environmentalists, planners & specialist trainers etc.

IUBAT has the following nine specialized centers for academic as well as service activities:

Focusing on the need of clients, CTRPD has expanded its activities in diversified fields to develop areas of complementary expertise and strengthen capabilities. CTS/CTRPD’s collective professional achievements include a large number of assignments home and abroad.

Recent Training Programs of CTRPD

1. Name of the Training Program: Grant Proposal Writing and Grant Project Management Conducted by Ms Andrea E. Burniske, Project Management Specialist, Purdue University, USA and Volunteer Asia F2F Program, under Winrock International during 8 August to 20 August 2014. In this course was participated by 24 senior University faculties. The certificate awarding ceremony was graced by Professor Dr. Md Mahbubar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU). Prof M Alimullah Miyan was the chair of this program.

2. Name of the Training Program: Certificate course on ‘Sustainability’ to be conducted by Dr Md Amzad Hossain, Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University, Western Australia and respective IUBAT faculties during 27 December to 31 December 2014.

3. Name of the Training Program: Professional certificate course on ‘Power System Network Analysis (PSNA)’ to be conducted by Engr Mohammad Abdul Bari, Head of CTRPD at IUBAT during 14 January to 12 March 2015. In this course was participated by 43 professionals, and students. The certificate awarding ceremony was graced by Engr Md. Abdul Khaleque, Project Director (Chief Engineer) of Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB). Prof M Alimullah Miyan was the chair of this program.

4. Name of the Training Program: Professional certificate course on ‘Advance Programmable Logic Control (PLC)’ to be conducted by Md Azizul Huq, Md. Jubaer Alam, MM Reazul Haque Tonmoy and Razin Ahmed, faculties of DEEE at IUBAT during 18 May to 14 July March 2015. In this course, 19 executives of different organizations participated.

5. Name of the Training Program: Professional certificate course on ‘Power System Network Analysis (PSNA)’ to be conducted by Engr Mohammad Abdul Bari, Head of CTRPD at IUBAT during 13 May to 8 July 2015. Forty Four Professionals and students joined the program and the closing ceremony was graced by Engr. Hasibur Rahman, Office Director, NRECA International Ltd.

6. Name of the Training Program: Professional certificate course on ‘Power Distribution Network Analysis (PDNA)’ to be conducted by Engr Mohammad Abdul Bari, Head of CTRPD at IUBAT during 10 May to 14 July 2015. Twelve Professionals from different private organizations joined the program.

7. Name of the Training Program: Professional certificate course on ‘Power System Network Analysis (PSNA)’ to be conducted by Engr Mohammad Abdul Bari, Head of CTRPD at IUBAT during 12 September to 14 November 2015. Twenty one Professionals and students joined the program.

8. Name of the Training Program: Professional certificate course on ‘Advance Programmable Logic Control (PLC)’ to be conducted by Md Azizul Huq, Md. Thirty four Professionals and students from different private organization joined the program.
