HOMECOMING: EEE Alumni Reunion 2019

IUBAT celebrated a very special day with alumni of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) on 29^th November 2019 with the Theme “HOMECOMING” at the IUBAT Open Auditorium. This program was organized jointly by the Department of EEE and IUBAT EEE Alumni Association. This program was sponsored by Mechanism Trade and Engineering Ltd. (Platinum Sponsor), Bachar Engineering Ltd. (Gold Sponsor), Multisystem Engineering Co. Ltd. (Gold Sponsor), Capital Enterprise (Gold Sponsor), OSL-KNS Group (Silver Sponsor).  It was a colorful day for the Alumni of EEE as well as for the IUBAT. Currently, a large number of EEE graduates are serving in various reputed organizations at home and abroad with pride. More than 700 alumni were present on that day. The program was started with the welcome addressees by Prof. Dr. Bishwajit Saha, Coordinator of the Department of EEE and AKM Sharfuddin, Director of Alumni and Placement office and Honorable Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Abdur Rab, delivered his valuable speech for Alumni with saying “Happy Homecoming”.  Along with the Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT, Treasurer Ms. Selina Nragis, Dean College of Engineering and Technology Professor Dr. Md. Monirul Islam, Prof. Dr. Md. Shariful Islam, Chairman, DEEE welcomed the EEE alumni. Honorable Vice-Chancellor hoped that IUBAT EEE Alumni Association will be more proactive and expand its activities for the overall development of country and nation with emphasis on IUBAT. He further mentioned that the prosperity of society and the nation progressed with innovative activities. On that program, an alumnus of EEE shared their feelings with their batch mates, seniors as well as with the juniors. They took photos with the teachers, seniors, and batchmates and become very emotional with their beloved green campus. There was a cultural program also, running students and alumnus performed in that event. It is worth mentioning that IUBAT is very successfully conducting its education since its inception in 1991.
