“IUBAT CSE IT Olympiad for HSC& EquivalentLevel Students,2021” is one of the biggest and prestigious annual IT Olympiad competitionsin Bangladesh for college level and polytechnic students. Due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, arrangements have been made for students to appear for the IT Olympiad contest from home through a PC, Laptop or Smartphone with Internet connection. It is a major event on Information and Communications Technology, which covers topics ranging from ICT Fundamentals, Communication System and Networking, Number System and Digital Devices, Web Design and HTML, Basic Programming and Database Management System. The ideas shared here will boost the confidence of students preparing for Digital Bangladesh.
Eligibility:
Students of all colleges and polytechnic institutes those are recognized by the Intermediate and Secondary Education Boards and Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), Bangladesh. Those who have passed HSC in 2021 they are also eligible to join the contest.

Prizes and certificates:
- 1st Position:10000 BDT
- 2nd Position: 8000 BDT
- 3rd Position: 5000 BDT
- 4th -8th Position: 1000 BDT
- Best female participant prize: 2000 BDT
- If multiple participants hold the same rank, the participant answering in the shortest time shall be awarded the prize.

Rules of the contest and its adherence:
- Students need to manage PC, Laptop, and Smartphone with Internet connectivity to attain the contest.
- For the online contest, each participant shall receive their individual username and password to login individually in the contest platform. The contest link will be given to the students though email and SMS.
- Within 25 minutes they have to answer 50 MCQ questions.
- Top 3 participants who score highest marks in the shortest time shall be awarded as the winners. Winners for the other categories will be selected by following the same procedure.
- If multiple participants hold the same rank,the participant answering in the shortest time shall be awarded the prize.
- Where it comes to the notice of the governing body that participating students have violated rule(s) thus gaining unfair advantage in the contest or have won using fraudulent means, such participants shall forthwith be disqualified.
- Participating colleges must abide by the code of conduct set by the governing body of IUBAT CSE IT Olympiad for HSC Level Students 2021. Failing to abide by the rules may result in student disqualification from the contest at any time without prior notice.
- The governing body shall not be responsible for the outcome of any occurrences outside its control like power failure, slow Internet speed etc. during the contests.
- Participants must use their recent photograph during the contest time and prize money will be awarded after verification from the colleges/institutes.
