Notice for Retention Fee and Reinstatement Policy

According to the decision of the Academic Council meeting (ACM) held on June 27, 2026, this is to inform all concerned that, with effect from Fall 2026, the admission of any student who remains discontinued for three (3) consecutive semesters shall be automatically canceled.

A student whose admission has been canceled may apply for reinstatement subject to the following conditions:

1.     Submission of a written application explaining the valid reason for the discontinuation;

2.     Recommendation and approval of the concerned department; and

3.     Payment of a Retention/Reinstatement Fee of Tk. 5,000/- (Taka Five Thousand only) for each semester.
