Mental Health is a Universal Human Right

Department of Psychology and Professor Mahmuda Khanum Healthcare Center of IUBAT is organizing a poster presentation competition as a celebration of “World Mental Health Day-2023”.

Topic: “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right”

Only students of IUBAT can participate in this competition. Posters may be hand-drawn or digitally created. They can participate individually or in a group (Not more than 3 members per group). They can present personal experiences or events or cases published in media related to the selected topic – “Mental Health is a Universal Human Right”.

This right includes-

• The right to access quality and affordable care when a person is struggling with their mental health.
• The right to be protected from known risks to mental health; especially for the vulnerable including children and minorities.
• The right to freedom and dignity for people with mental illness.

Students can come up with their own points of view or solutions to ensure these rights.

[The participants must give a title to their poster and write a description about their poster within 400 words on an A4 paper and submit along with the poster.]

Three best posters would be selected considering the audience’s vote and jury’s decision and will be awarded with “Prize Money”.
