In celebration of the 32nd Foundation Day of IUBAT-International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, the Department of English and Modern Languages (DEML), in association with IUBAT English Society, is proud to present a stage adaptation of William Shakespeare’s iconic classic tragedy “Macbeth” on 18th February. The event will take place at the IUBAT Open Auditorium in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This timeless tale of ambition, power, and betrayal is one of Shakespeare’s most enduring works.
Directed by Md. Kawsar Uddin, Associate Professor, DEML, this production of “Macbeth” promises to be a captivating and thought-provoking performance. With a talented cast of actors who are the students of BAEng and splendid set design, the audience can expect a memorable theatrical experience. We hope that our production will inspire our audiences to reflect on the different themes of the play.
The stage show will be graced with the presence of the honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr Abdur Rab, and the Treasurer, Professor Selina Nargis, IUBAT. The Society is honored to have them in attendance. We will be delighted with your presence at the event.
