Civil Festival 2021 held at IUBAT

A day-long Civil Engineering Festival titled “Civil Festival 2021” was organized by the Department of Civil Engineering of the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT). The festival was inaugurated with the presence of the Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Treasurer of IUBAT, Dean-CEAT, Chair, and Coordinator, Civil Engineering Department of IUBAT. The day started with a daylong sports activity. The students participated in football, cricket, etc. Some students had also come up with an exciting project showcasing related with civil engineering field. Engr. Md. Shahrior Alam, Assistant Engineer, Local Government Engineering Department, gave a seminar on Quality control and management in construction materials. ACI Student Chapter-IUBAT organized the seminar. Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT, Prof. Dr. Abdur Rab, presided over the seminar.

 Prof Dr. MD. Monirul Islam, Dean, College of Engineering and Technology and Chair, Department of Civil Engineering of IUBAT University, was the Chief Patron of the festival.

Later, the department organized a pleasant cultural program, and civil engineering students and alumni attended the cultural gala.
