CSE Fresher’s Day 2021 Celebration held on IUBAT

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of IUBAT arranged a Fresher’s Day celebration for the fresher’s students to remove those mental issues at 29th October 2021.
On this beautiful day, the whole campus wore a festive look in the decoration of colorful festoons, banners, flowers etc. The day was full of different events. The first phase of the event started at 8.30 am with experience sharing from one of the CSE Alumni who is working in a renowned software company in Bangladesh. Then the Chairman of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Prof. Dr. Utpal Kanti Das, Coordinator Dr. Hasibur Rashid Chayon with his fellow faculty members introduced them in front of the students and assured them that students will get them whenever they need any assistance. Next, the Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT, Prof. Dr. Abdur Rab gave his informative and enlightening speech to the students. He mentioned the importance of time management for shining in life. After the first phase of the program day, then students were encouraged to participate in the other events like the booth exhibition of the wings (Creative, Academic, Programming, Robotics, Student Relationship) of IUBAT IT Society where they displayed their services for the students. The wings also arranged exciting creative writing contests, programming contests, quiz games etc for the students. Sports Competition like Football among the batches was held on the IUBAT Football ground, besides this – Chair Sitting game (Boys), Hari Vanga game (Girls), the Biscuit Race game (Girls), Chair Sitting game (Girls) held respectively. There was an arrangement of a Movie Show also for the students. After the prayer break and lunch, students gathered in the Open Auditorium arena to enjoy the Cultural Gala. In the Cultural Gala, the students enjoyed Poetry Reciting, songs, dance and ramp show. Their amazing performance really charmed the fresher’s students. The program ended by giving the prizes to the winner of the games and other events. The day was really a memorable and delightful day for all the CSE family of IUBAT including the students, teachers, society members and staff.
