Delegates from China Visited IUBAT to Link up Universities in Sichuan Province for Collaboration

Some delegates from the Education Department of Sichuan Province, China have visited IUBAT — International University of Business Agriculture and Technology at its Green Campus on the last 20th December, 2019. Sichuan is the largest Province in China which has 126 higher education institutions educating around one hundred thousand international students including one thousand from Bangladesh. The Education Department has promised to open up linkages between IUBAT and universities in Sichuan province in the fields of Business and Economics, Agriculture, Computer Science, Electronic and Engineering Sciences. Once collaboration is done, IUBAT students will have the opportunity to go for master’s program in their respective fields.

The discussion was presided over by the Vice-Chancellor of IUBAT including registrar, respective deans and coordinators were also present. Vice-Chancellor addressed the education system of Bangladesh including public and private universities. He also gave a background of IUBAT that has recently achieved UI Green Metric world rank 241^st out 780 in the globe. The delegates include Pan Li, Director (Office of Science and Postgraduate students), Wang Yu, Inspector (Education Department of Sichuan Province) and Yang Yuelin, Consultant (Education Department of Sichuan Province).
