Dr Khair Jahan Sogra joins as Dean of College of Business Administration, IUBAT

Dr Khair Jahan Sogra recently joined as Dean of College of Business Administration(CBA) of IUBAT. Dr Khair Jahan Sogra was a Professor at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She served in several administrative positions in IBA such as Chairperson of MBA Program, Chairperson of Executive MBA Program and Chairperson of Management Development Program.

She has a PhD in Gender Differences and Choice of Conflict Management Styles of Managers in Bangladesh from Macquarie University, Australia. She holds an MBA degree from the University of New Brunswick, Canada, and another MBA degree from IBA, University of Dhaka. She has extensive training in gender and development issues in Canada, the UK, and Sri Lanka.

She taught also in Asia Pacific University and East West University. She teaches different courses in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour. Her research interests include gender issues in organizations. She has published many research articles in peer-reviewed national and international journals. She has extensive consultancy experiences in gender and related issues, and has worked with the Government of Bangladesh, broader civil society, and various development partners both within and outside the country as a gender consultant and trainer.
